I wanted to say I saw your article in the pilotonline and thought it was wonderful how you helped reunite members of a different famly! I have lost hope of finding any of my original family members-I was adopted when I was 2 weeks old and I have VERY little to go on to search for my birth parents. Would you happen to know how I can go about beginning to search? I am 30 and have a baby boy and another child on the way. If I could find my birthparents to share the news, I would love to. Again, your work is amazing and keep it up!!

Came across your website and we might just be kin. My madien name is Carroll and as far as I know, Carroll isn't a very common last name. Don't have very much information about my grandfather because he was adopted and never talked about his birth family, but I have always been very interested in learning all I can about that side of the family. Hi Deb,
I'm not sure that my finding your site was anything other than a kind act of God. I have been researching my Godwin Family for years and have made more progress in the last twenty four hours than I have all along. In your Godwin line I see a Minnie Bryant Godwin daughter of Archiband Bryant Godwin. I know that there were 10 more children as well but do not know their names. (yet)
I also sa that you have a Hepsie Ann Godwin who married Bithel Bass. She also had brothers and sisters and was the daughter of John Robert Godwin which you do not have listed. I have a photo of him as I am descended from this line somehow and I am a student of the civil war. The photo is from I would guess around 1900 - 1916 whe he died.
I pray that we can help each other to fill in the gaps.
